Building Wind Turbines

The EWEB Education Partnership offers 4J middle school science classrooms a three day, hands-on workshop to teach students about generating energy and how to build a simple wind turbine. Days 2 and 3 involve competitions for highest voltage with different variables. This activity works well with the 7th grade iQwst PS2 standard involving energy.

See the presentation link for our step by step process for the workshop.
